So, I was heading upstairs to start animating when my Dad called me into his room. I felt confused by the dead silence of my sister and mom, who were just kind of staring. Then my Dad told me that my cousin is in the Intensive Care unit in the hospital with Meningitis.

Apparently Meningitis is a deadly disease, and they have to quarentine the school and all...

Here's some Wiki info on it:

"Meningitis is inflammation of the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord, known collectively as the meninges.[1] The inflammation may be caused by infection with viruses, bacteria, or other microorganisms, and less commonly by certain drugs.[2] Meningitis can be life-threatening because of the inflammation's proximity to the brain and spinal cord; therefore the condition is classified as a medical emergency.[1][3]"

It says that there is some sort of vaccine, a needle that they stick into your spinal cord or something, but it also says that deafness, epilepsy and such are consequences if the disease isn't treated quickly.

Please, please help pray for my cousin. I love him and I can't bear hearing this story... and...
